Portraits from Highball

Halloween in Columbus means Highball, a celebration of fashion and Halloween, which attracts some incredible costumes from all over central Ohio and beyond. I tried something a little non-traditional, with some inspiration from my fellow photo intern, Kristen Zeis, who suggested video portraits (see the video here). It was certainly a blur of a night, and a learning experience about pacing myself and remembering to shoot plenty of stills in addition to video, all in one night.
